I just tried out a Le Tote subscription and wanted to share my experience. But first things first, this post isn't sponsored. I spent my own dinero on a tote subscription for the sake of trying it out and reporting back to you.

Acabo de probar la suscripción de Le Tote y quería compartir mi experiencia. Pero antes de empezar, os quiero dejar saber que este post no lleva patrocinador. Gasté mi propio dinero en una suscripción para probarla y comentar sobre ella.

EN I heard about Le Tote from a friend who explained it as a clothes borrowing subscription box, which  sounded great. I like to try different looks but can be a bit fickle, so this is a great way to play with different trends without committing to a purchase. When I signed up, I was asked questions about my style choices and measurements/sizes. From there, I was able to browse their selection and "like" the pieces that most caught my eye. Once all of that was submitted, a box gets personalized with clothes for you. If you don't like a pick, you have the option to swap it out for a different piece before the box gets mailed out to you.

Me encanta probar looks diferentes pero puedo ser un poco veleidosa, así que es una buena manera de experimentar con tendencias sin comprometerse. Cuando empecé, me preguntaron sobre mi estilo y mis medidas/mi talla. De ahí, pude mirar su selección de prendas y poner "me gusta" en lo que más me llamó la atención. En cuanto se entrega esa información, te personalizan una caja de ropa y complementos. Si no te gusta algo que han elegido, puedes cambiarla por otra antes de que te envíen la caja.

EN I chose the 3-item box for $39.95, which allows two clothing items and one accessory. My first box came super quick with a sheer tunic top, a ruffled dress and a choker. When I was ready to swap out my pieces for new ones, I put my items in the bag labeled with pre-paid postage. (Free shipping both ways, yes!) Le Tote takes care of dry cleaning, so there's no need to wash before sending back. My only beef was that when it came time to choose my next box, all of my picks were out with other Le Tote customers. And although I understood not always being able to get my first pick, this happened again with my third box. Since I realized that snagging my top picks wasn't happening, I decided to cancel my subscription. Canceling was tough. I put in two separate email requests, which didn't get processed until I called a representative.  Apart from not always being able to get my first choice, I will say that the concept is great. Being able to borrow clothes is not only a cheaper alternative to shopping, it also is a great way to cut down on consumption. The shipping back and forth is super fast and easy. And I must say that the customer service is top notch.

Cuando llegó la hora de cambiar la ropa, puse todo en una de las bolsas que ya viene con la etiqueta pre-pagada para el envío. (¡El envío es totalmente gratis!) Ni hay que lavar la ropa antes de enviarla, Le Tote también se encarga de eso. Lo único que no me gustó fue que todo lo que había puesto como "me gusta" ya había estado elegido por otras personas. Y aunque entiendo que no siempre se puede lograr tener la primera elección, fue así también con la tercera caja. Como vi que no tenía suerte con conseguir mis prendas favoritas, decidí cancelar la suscripción. Cancelar sí fue un poco complicado. Envíe dos mensajes por correo electrónico, pero no procesaron la cancelación hasta que llamé. Aunque no pude conseguir lo que quería, me encanta el concepto de la suscripción. Poder prestar la ropa es más barato que comprarla y es una buena manera de bajar el consumo. Los envíos fueron fáciles y rápidos. Y tengo que decir que la atención al cliente es buenísima.
