Chicago is a great city. There is tons to see and experience: art, architecture, music, shows and so much more. Work hasn't allowed me to go on vacation this summer, but I've been trying to make the most of any free time. To capture those moments, I've toted around my camera all around the city with me.  Thank goodness that my new Lo & Sons Claremont camera bag looks more like a chic saddle bag than the run of the mill black, nylon bag. I love that it has pockets for my memory cards, a padded interior to keep my camera safe and a back pocket for easy access to my phone and keys.

Chicago es una ciudad impresionante. Hay mucho que ver y experimentar: arte, arquitectura, música, teatro y mucho más. El trabajo no me permitió viajar este verano, pero he intentado aprovechar de cada momento libre. Para captar esos momentos por la ciudad, he traído mi cámara por todas partes. Menos mal que mi bolso de cámara Claremont Lo & Sons parece más a un bolso chic que el típico bolso negro de nilón. Me encanta que tiene bolsillos para las tarjetas SIM, un interior acolchonado para proteger a la cámara y un bolsillo trasero para encontrar fácilmente el móvil y las llaves.

 

Sunday  "A Sunday well spent brings a week of content." Or at least that's what they say, so I made sure to start the week off well with brunch! After brunch, I snapped some photos of fun murals and got the chance to shoot some portraits with a photographer. (Those pics are soon to come.)

Domingo  "Un Domingo bien pasado provoca una  semana excelente." O por lo menos eso dicen. Por eso decidí empezar bien con un brunch! Después del brunch, saqué fotos de algunos murales coloridos y tuve la oportunidad de sacar algunas fotos con una fotógrafa. (Ya pronto os enseñaré las fotos.)

 

Monday  I made last minute plans with some friends to catch the Iridium fashion show at Roof on theWIT

Lunes Hice planes de último momento con unas amigas para ver el desfile de Iridium en Roof on theWIT.

 

Tuesday I grabbed a refreshing prosecco pop cocktail with one of my favorite co-workers at Upstairs at The Gwen.

Martes Me fui a tomar un cóctel refrescante de polos de prosecco con una de mis compis favoritas en la azotea de The Gwen.

Wednesday I wandered around Millennium Park. I may or may not have done some shopping along the way. ;)

Miércoles Di un paseo por Millennium Park. Puede ser que también fui de compras por la Avenida Michigan. ;)

 

Thursday I took advantage of the Art Institute of Chicago's free evening admission (from 5PM-close) night and enjoyed some pieces from some of the world's greatest impressionist artists. This Sorolla took me back to Madrid...sigh!

Jueves Aproveché de las entradas gratis del Instituto de Arte de Chicago los jueves por la tarde (de 17:00-20:00) para admirar un poco de obras de grandes artistas impresionistas. Ésta de Sorolla me transportó a Madrid...

 

Friday I grabbed some of my besties for a Ladies Night at U.S. Cellular Field with the White Sox. I mean, what's summer without some baseball. Right!?

Viernes  Junté un grupo de mis mejores amigos para ver un partido de los White Sox en U.S. Cellular Field. Vamos, en el verano, ¡no puede faltar el beisbol!

Saturday I strapped on my heels and painted the town red.                                      EN Hope you enjoyed the peek into my week with Lo & Sons! May your week ahead be fabulous!!!
