Hey guys, it's Air and Water Show weekend! The forecast was a bit of a bummer, but it looks like the weather is clearing up. Phew!

Oye chicos, ha llegado el Air and Water Show! Pronosticaron lluvia, pero parece que el tiempo va mejorando justo a tiempo. ¡Menos mal!

 

EN I might have been born and raised in Chicago, but this is actually my first time watching the show. The loud jets zoomed all around town on Friday. I could hear them from my office and decided to run over to Navy Pier after work for a walk before the weekend crowds take over.

ES Aunque soy nativa de Chicago, admito que es la primera vez que veré el show. Los aviones se escucharon de todas partes el viernes. Los escuché desde la oficina y decidí dar un paseo por Navy Pier después de trabajar antes de que vinieran toda la gente.

EN The 58th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show can be watched from lakefront, but some of the best views are from Fullerton to Oak Street and North Avenue Beach. Did you know that it's the largest FREE show of its kind in the U.S.?  The headliners include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights and the U.S. Navy Parachute Team Leap Frogs.

ES El 58th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show se puede ver desde las playas del Lago Michigan, pero las mejores vistas son por Fullerton a Oak Street y la Playa de la Avenida Norte. ¿Sabéis que es el show gratis más grande del los E.E.U.U.?  Las estrellas del show son los Thunderbirds de la Fuerza Aérea, el Equipo de Paracaídas los Caballeros Dorados del Ejercito y el Equipo de Paracaídas los Leap Frogs de la Fuerza Naval.

EN To capture that whole nautical vibe, I pulled out this striped ruffle dress. It looks a lot like something from Viva Aviva, but I got it at a steal from Romwe! Although I think it looks great with the red heels, let's be real. I'll be wearing it with flat sandals tomorrow for the show. Wishing you all a great weekend!

ES Para captar ese aire náutico, saqué este vestido a rayas con volantes. Se parece a una prenda de Viva Aviva, ¡pero lo encontré por mucho menos en Romwe! Aunque creo que queda genial con estos tacones rojos, tengo que ser sincera, mañana lo llevaré con unas sandalias planas. ¡Os deseo un buen finde!
