Weddings are an occasion that I like to wear dresses to, but what's a gal to do when the dipping temps run your wardrobe choices? Answer: Turn to WEST 56 collections for their exclusive HEATIMPACT™ fabric.

The HEATIMPACT™ fabric is an exclusively developed fabric that combines years of sourcing the highest quality fibers with Japanese technology. It's soft to the touch, retains body heat as much as a wool sweater and offers a load of other great features (i.e. anti-bacterial, anti-odor, stretchy and non-deforming).

Needless to say, this overlay midi dress was perfectly practical for my cousin's winter wedding. The heels on the other hand, not so much, but they matched the dress perfectly! Just a small price to pay to achieve this monochromatic moment.

Honestly, I felt like I was wearing sweats. There's some serious comfort in these threads. I love the simplicity of the design with the front overlay. Designer Alston Young killed it on this one. I think it looked great with these heels and belt, but I'd totally wear it out with some booties or even some sneakers.

If this is what winter blues are supposed to look like, I'll be wearing this cobalt number all season long.
