The stripes of this asymmetric midi skirt from Finders Keepers reminds me of Chicago's cityscape. The uniformity of the stripe's line spacing seems to especially mimic the diagonal lines in the Pritzker Pavillion's bandshell at Millennium Park.

Because the side seams are not very noticeable, you can play with the slit placement from center to side. Although the slit is flirty, the modest midi length lends itself to conservative look options appropriate for the office.

One of the great things about this skirt is that it can be styled tons of different ways. Although I'm most likely to wear it with a cropped top this summer, it also looks great with chunky knits, flowy blouses and tucked in shirts.

Changing up the footwear also changes up the overall look.

Strappy heels = sassy
Espadrille wedges = summer vibes
Pointed pumps = polished
Cut-out booties = edgy
Sneakers = sport luxe
Lace up ballerina flats = dainty

  1. Love this look! And I love how you didn’t go for the typical bean pic at Millennium Park. I’m located in Chicago too. Good luck in the contest.
