| Summer is my absolute favorite season! The longer daylight hours give me a ton of energy and I love spending time outside in the warmer temps. To help me squeeze out the most of this summer, Chevrolet lent a helping hand. They let me test out a Camaro and an Equinox to check off everything on my summer to-do list!!! |

EN Summertime temps took their sweet time to arrive to Chicago, so I kicked off the summer with a trip down to Florida. Chevrolet spoiled me with a brand new Camaro convertible. It had ALL of the bells and whistles. I'd never driven a convertible before this trip and let me tell you this, it was such a treat! I've never had more fun driving. My boyfriend Danny and I got exactly what we needed from this trip:
| ES Las temperaturas veraniegas tardaron mucho en llegar a Chicago, y por eso decidí empezar el verano con un viaje a Florida. Chevrolet me consintió con el modelo más nuevo del Camaro descapotable con TODOS los accesorios. Nunca antes había conducido un descapotable, ¡y os digo que fue toda una experiencia! | EN The drive between Miami and Tampa was long. To pass the time, we took full advantage of the car's Apple CarPlay feature. It was easy to tap into our phone's playlists to play "Name that Artist" to all of our favorite throwback songs. Another favorite feature: the ventilated leather seats! They helped keep things cooler when we drove locally with the top down. |
ES El viaje entre Miami y Tampa fue largo. Para pasar el tiempo, aprovechamos del Apple CarPlay. Nos permitió utilizar las listas de canciones en nuestros móviles para jugar "Nombra el Artista" a todas nuestras canciones preferidas de los 90. Otro accesorio que me encantó: ¡los asientos ventilados! Ayudaron mucho combatir el calor cuando abrimos la capota. |

| EN Upon my return, Chevy hooked me up with a fully loaded 2019 Equinox. I took that baby all over the city of Chicago. To celebrate National Hotdog Day, I visited multiple different hot dog stands/restaurants. I went to the Vienna Beef Factory store, Devil Dawgs, Memo's, Duk's Red Hots and Guaranteed Rate Field. My fave of the bunch was Devil Dawgs! |
ES Al volver, Chevrolet me dejó prestado un 2019 Equinox con todas los accesorios. Me lo llevé por toda la ciudad. Para celebrar el Día Nacional del Perrito Caliente, visité varios puestos/restaurantes de 🌭. Fui a la tienda de Factoría Vienna Beef, Devil Dawgs, Memo's, Duk's Red Hots y el estadio de los White Sox. ¡Mi favorito fue el de Devil Dawgs! |
| EN I got side swiped last winter and get a little anxious about driving during rush hour traffic in the city. The Equinox helps ease a lot of that stress. It has some really great safety features to warn you when cars are too close or are in your blind spot. I also love the aerial camera that helps with parking. Another feature that I think is neat is the backseat alert that warns you when you leave items in your backseat. It's saved more than 1 gallon of milk from spoiling in the backseat. | ES El invierno pasado sufrí un accidente de coche y desde ese entonces conducir durante la hora punta en la ciudad o por la autopista me pone nerviosa. | EN I've gone to more sports events this summer than I have in the last 3 years. I went to 2 White Sox games, a Ray's game, a baseball game between the Chicago Police Dept. and the Chicago Fire Dept., a pre-season Bears game and the TBT Championship game. These last few weeks have melted away faster than my make-up on a 90º day. Despite that, I'm happy to report that I've made the most of my summer. I've enjoyed my friends and family. I've gone to the beach a few times, visited quite a few rooftops and terraces, worked on my plants and hit up lots of street festivals. |
ES He ido a muchos más eventos deportivos este verano que en los últimos 3 años. He ido a 2 partidos de los White Sox, 1 de los Ray's, un partido de beisbol entre la Policía de Chicago y los Bomberos de Chicago, un partido de los Bears y el campeonato de baloncesto TBT. Estas últimas semanas han pasado súper rápidos pero a pesar de eso, me da alegría poder decir que he podido aprovechar del verano. He disfrutado de los amigos y la familia. He ido unas cuantas veces a la playa, ido a azoteas, dedicado tiempo a mis plantas e ido a un montón de festivales locales. |
| EN I'd like to send a BIG thank you to Chevrolet for lending me these two great vehicles. Without them, I would have missed out on quite a bit due to public transportation and drive share slow downs. There's no way that I could have enjoyed half as much of my summer without the safety, convenience and comfort of Chevrolet. (This has me thinking that I might need to trade in my bus pass for some Chevrolet wheels!) Thanks for helping me #FindNewRoads. |
ES Quisiera agradecer al equipo Chevrolet por dejarme probar estos dos vehículos excelentes. Sin ellos, me hubiera perdido mucho por las demoras del transporte público y los servicios de vehículos compartidos.
