Summertime makes me so happy. Sure, I could do without the crazy lakeside humidity, but I can never get enough of the season.

EN Although I love that the sunshine and warm weather coaxes people out and encourages social gatherings, I crave solo moments.

I’m a total introvert. As much as I like to share time with all of the lovely people in my life, I need time alone to properly recharge after a draining workweek or a busy event calendar. As lame as it sounds, I look forward to chill Friday nights in.		 ES Aunque me encanta que los días brillosos y cálidos impulsan quedadas y momentos sociales, siempre se me antojan momentos a solas.

Soy una introvertida. Aunque me encanta pasar el tiempo con la gente hermosa en mi vida, necesito estar sola para recargar las pilas después de una semana ocupada. Vivo por los viernes tranquilos de pelis y copas de vino en casita.

EN Beach time is my summer jam. I woke up early and arrived before 8:30 AM to enjoy a solo beach moment.

It was so nice to feel the soft breeze caress my face and the gritty sand gently scrub against my toes. The private beach feel had me in a reflective mood, which really helped me put a few things in perspective.

I have goals. You have goals. We ALL have goals. Mine usually get tucked underneath work expectations, post deadlines, blog events, family gatherings and overall adulting. Today gave me the chance to reconnect with my deepest desires. I am the ultimate procrastinator and my beach moment made me realize that I need to stop putting my dreams on the back burner.

Why wait for tomorrow? I need to work hard on today to get to where I wanna be. Here’s to you and me and our brighter tomorrows.		 ES Momentos de playa son lo más. Hoy me desperté a las 8:30 para un momento a solas por la playa.

Se siente tan bien que la brisa te acaricie la cara y que los dedos del pie resbalen por la arena exfoliante. La sensación de playa privada me hizo reflexionar, lo cual me ayudó a poner algunas cosas en perspectiva.

Tengo sueños. Tenéis sueños. TODOS tenemos sueños. Suelo dejar los míos debajo del trabajo, subir entradas a tiempo, eventos de blogueras, quedadas con la familia y cumplir con los compromisos. Hoy tuve la oportunidad de reconectar con mis deseos más profundos. Dejo todo para mañana y reconozco que eso me impide lograr mis objetivos.

¿Por qué esperar hasta mañana? Necesito trabajar más en el día de hoy para llegar a dónde quiero estar mañana. Chin chin a nuestros futuros.
