TBT: Toronto Road Trip

EN Road trips, no matter how long or short, are so much fun when shared with good friends. To celebrate one of my best friend's birthdays, we embarked on a trip to Toronto a few weeks back.
 ES Da igual lo largo o corto que sean, los roadtrips son mucho más divertidos con amigos. Para celebrar el cumpleaños de uno de mis mejores amigas, nos fuimos hace unas semanas a Toronto.

EN After an eight hour drive, we crossed the border for some girl squad fun and exploration. Spoiler alert: Although it's a great city, it was cold as fuq and hard to enjoy the great sights with chattering teeth!                               
ES Después de un viaje de ocho horas, cruzamos la frontera para un poco de diversión y exploración con las chicas. Os digo ya de una vez, la ciudad es impresionante pero lo pasamos un poco mal con el frío.      
 

EN The CN Tower offers a great 360° view of the city. Day or night, the needle-like tower is impressive amidst the cityscape. ES La Torre CN ofrece unas vistas 360° de la ciudad. De día o noche, la torre es impresionante contra el fondo de los edificios.
In an effort to stay warm, we ducked inside of the Ripley's Aquarium. The aquarium was so much cooler than I expected...and was actually one of my favorite stops. Para escaparnos del frío, entramos en el Acuario de Ripley's. El acuario me gustó mucho más de lo que esperaba...la verdad es que fue uno de mis sitios preferidos.      


 

EN Oohing and ahhing over the beautiful sea creatures really worked up an appetite. We went to the Amsterdam Brewery for some brews and apps, before heading over to the Kensington Market for dinner.

 ES Admirar todos los animales del mar nos creó un apetito. Fuimos al Amsterdam Brewery para unas cervezas y aperitivos antes de irnos al Kensington Market para cenar.                                         

EN Before packing up shop, we visited the lake and handled the wind like champs to enjoy the view.       
ES Antes de hacer el viaje de vuelta, visitamos el lago para disfrutar de la vista (a pesar del viento fuerte).

    Looks like a fun trip and so memorable with friends! I've wanted to visit Toronto, partially because my business partners live there, but also because I'm always reading about the amazing food scene there from other bloggers. Glad you enjoyed it!

      It was such a fun weekend getaway...cold as hell, but lots to enjoy. You should totally go. I bet the summer would be so nice there!
