Just when the temperature dips seemed to mark the coming of Fall, the temps miraculously spiked again. To capitalize on the last bits of summer, I took to Chicago's first ever Chicago Food + Wine Festival.
While enjoying delectable treats from over 90 artisanal food, wine, beer and spirits vendors at Lincoln Park, I was struck with some serious food coma when I stumbled across this beaut of a tent.
In the haze of my sugar level spikes, I had to zoom in to make sure that my eyes weren't deceiving me. Zappos had its own tent?! My shopping conscience was telling me to steer clear, but the friendly staff had me making my own cork stopper before I could think twice.
And then the shopping commenced...
Did I forget to mention that I have a mild shopping addiction? I mean, the postman just dropped off those stellar LeSpec sunnies from Zappos a few days ago.
Oh yeah, and those shoes? He brought over those Adrianna Papell Paxton shoes too... I couldn't help myself when I saw the fierce spin on the masculine inspired footwear. #sorryNOTsorry
While waiting for the sangria bar line to shorten, I decided to take a load off and make sure that my battery would last through my social media documenting.
After recharging (both literally and figuratively), I nabbed a white sangria and went in for another spin around the unWINEd tent. Any guesses as to what my next Zappos acquisition will be?
How'd you spend your Sunday Funday?
As the sign says, I spent mine with:
"Good Food
Good Friends
Good Wine
Good Times."

It was a spectacular event! My shots don't do it justice, but thanks for the love!

Thanks love! It's super comfy (and roomy enough to indulge in a great meal) and the ruffled sleeves add a little romance to the otherwise basic black shift dress.
