Saturday was International Women's Day. What did you do to celebrate the wonderful women in your life?
The theme for this year's Women's Day was "Equality for women is progress for all." With that theme in mind, I was struck by the following commercials and campaigns led by Facebook's COO Sheryl Sandberg .
Like singer Kelis, one of my close friends equates the word "bossy" with "fabulous." These high profile women on the other hand have lent their star power to a campaign that seeks to empower young women by banning the word "bossy" altogether. (Sidenote: Fashion powerhouse Diane Von Furstenburg makes an appearance in the video!)
