Her mature party look
mirrored the editorial photo spread, where the 21-year-old singer/actress posed
for sexy yet tastefully staged photos. For the shoot, she wore a bob wig,
lingerie and some couture pieces by Band of Outsiders among others. Despite the
racy looks, the photos seem to uphold Gomez’s reputation as a classy gal - unlike her fellow Disney darling, Miley Cyrus. The
photographer, Amanda de Cadenet, even went as far as describing her spread as
“sensual, not sexy.”
Hmm, but what
exactly is the difference between sensual and sexy? To my understanding,
they’re both adjectives relating to something as sexually appealing or attractive. Maybe what she meant to say was that the provocative looks were sophisticated, not trashy.

With so many
impressionable girls as fans, it’s nice to see a young celebrity exploring her
womanhood with a sense of responsibility to ensure that she’s being a positive
