Ever spend tons of time getting ready for an event, only to show up and find someone else wearing the SAME look?! C'mon ladies, you know you've had an unintentional twin moment too. The kind that you later find hashtagged on Instagram as #WhoWoreItBetter.

¿Habéis pasado un montón de tiempo preparándote para un evento, solo para encontrar otra chica en el MISMO look? Venga guapas, ya sé que os ha pasado también. Ese momento que luego encuentras por Instagram con la almohadilla #QuiénLoLlevóMejor.

EN Well, no need to worry about that happening any longer thanks to LURAP. (Love Ur Appearance) It's a women's fashion website that offers a variety of apparel. The best part of the site is that it allows for exclusive customization of any garment to your size or style preference. You can even design your own dress with their help! When I learned about being able to have a dress custom made just for moi, I jumped all over the opportunity.

ES Pues, ya no tenéis que preocuparos por eso en adelante gracias a LURAP. (Love Ur Appearance) Es un sitio de moda femenina que ofrece una gran variedad de ropa. La mejor parte es que ofrecen el servicio de customizar lo que sea a tu talla o estilo. ¡Hasta podéis diseñar tu propio vestido con la ayuda de su equipo de diseñadores! Cuando me enteré de que podían crear algo exclusivamente para mí, no pude dejar pasar la oportunidad.

 

EN Ruffles are on-trend and have been everywhere in the past few seasons. I love how romantic and feminine they are. One of my favorite ruffled looks was from Proenza Schouler's Spring-Summer 2016 ready-to-wear runway show. (Look 9.) Although it's a SS look, I thought that a few tweaks could take it through Fall. My tweaks included:  Shortening the hem Removing the side cut-outs  Creating a dramatic keyhole back closure.  When I contacted the LURAP design team with my idea, I was sure they'd laugh and say no way. But to my surprise, they replied quickly with a "yes." Needless to say, I was super impressed.  The highly trained and experienced designers not only understood my design idea, they also helped with every step of the design process. Thank goodness they did, because I needed help with everything from taking my own measurements to choosing a Fall appropriate fabric.

ES Los volantes son de tendencia y se pueden llevar en cualquier temporada. Me encanta ese toque romántico y femenino. Uno de mis looks con volantes preferidos es de la colección Primavera-Verano 2016 de Proenza Schouler. (Look 9.) Aunque sea un look PV, pensé que algunos cambios al diseño podían adaptar el look para el otoño. Mis cambios fueron:  Hacerlo más corto Quitar los recortes por los lados Crear un cierre con cinta y un escote de espalda dramático. Cuando contacté al equipo de diseño de LURAP con mi idea, estaba convencida que me iban a decir que no. Pero dentro de nada, me contestaron que el diseño era posible. Ni hace falta decir que me quedé impresionada. Los diseñadores no solo entendieron mi concepto de diseño, también me ayudaron con cada paso del proceso del diseño. Y menos mal que podía contar con ellos porque necesité ayuda con todo desde tomar mis medidas hasta elegir una tela apropiada para el otoño.

EN I had tons of fun designing my own dress and I think that LURAP totally nailed the look. What do you guys think about it?
