I've been on the hunt for a pair of chelsea booties that aren't the typical black that make up 90% of my shoe collection. When I came across these suede Lyla chelsea booties from Johnston & Murphy's Fall-Winter collection, I knew that my search was over.
I love the taupe color, still a neutral but it actually warms up my pale complexion better than a black pair would.
As for that style, I love to add a little hint of masculine whenever I can get it. Check that felt fedora that looks like came straight from my grandpa's closet. Wink, wink.

The booties are the perfect pair to wear year round. I suppose winter is just now getting started here in the Chi, but I can't wait to show you how I'll wear 'em in the Spring!
