To celebrate a special lady's 80th birthday, we decided to throw a big shebang. We wanted to make sure her and her guests took a sweet momento home after the party.
I had a ton of mason jars laying around so I thought it'd be nice to decorate the jars and fill them with candy.
Here's a list of what I used:
● Filler paper (or tissue paper)
● Chalkboard sticker labels
● Glitter scrapbook sheets
● Hot glue gun and sticks
● Chalkboard marker
●Mason jars
●Scissors
● Ribbon
● Candy
First, I cut the glittery scrapbook paper into equal sized strips.
Glue the strip in place. I used hot glue to make sure the strip was secured in place.
Next, I glued on the ribbon.
I removed the chalkboard labels and stuck them in the center of the ribbon.
With the label in place, I wrote the birthday message with the chalkboard marker.
I filled the decorated jar with filler paper and candies.
These could do double duty as a table center piece if a balloon or a balloon bouquet was attached.
(Please excuse my chipped mani, oops!)
