Joe Dirt isn't the only one who can get away with rocking a mullet. I brought that double personality into today's look: business on top and a party on the bottom.

Most of us ladies are spread thin between work, family and play. I hope that this look shows how easy it is to take an outfit from desk to night and vice versa. Swap these ripped jeans for some skinny or fitted trousers and your former happy hour look is all set for that 9:00 AM meeting.

There's nothing basic about this oversized short-sleeved shirt. The roomy cap sleeve keeps me cool despite rising temps and the back pleating is unexpected. To add extra polish, I tied a silk scarf in similar blue tones around the collar.

These strappy heels really bring on the femme to the masculine feel of the boyfriend jeans and boxy shirt. I love the pop of color and sassy feel (insert flamenco dancing emoji) when combined with these oversized cat eye sunnies.

After work I ran home to take Max out for a quick walk before meeting up with ma chicas.

Now that Max is all set, we out!
