Tropical prints are popping up everywhere this season, so I had to give 'em a whirl. I thought it'd be fun to give the exotic print a Midwest spin. I equate the Midwest with rich farmland, hence my countryside backdrop at Peck Farm in Geneva.

The dress' seafoam green color and cut remind me of frocks that I've seen while vintage shopping. I love how it cinches in at my waist and has an A-line skirt - perfect combo for a curvy chica like me. To give the dress some casual vibes, I paired it with a denim jacket and some high top Chucks.

Browbar sunglasses are such an It-accessory right now. I scored this black pair on sale at Forever 21 for $2.99! *Woot, woot! Doing my sale dance*

What's great about these accessories is how they pull out the black and white from the dress' print. They tie the whole look together and the bag additionally lends some polish to this effortless-looking ensemble.

Now that mission tropical-countryside fusion is complete, let's go get a piƱa colada to celebrate the union!
