The temps are still low, but the sun is out and the snow has melted. (Yasssssss!) To celebrate the Spring thaw, I opted for an outfit devoid of black or grey and went out to enjoy the weather.

I got this Coach Toaster bag months ago back in New York. I love the versatility of the removable strap and the slouchy design. It makes for a great work bag but can also double as a chic oversized clutch. Everything about this bag says laid-back luxe: the color, the shape, the leather grain and the small details.

Nothing says spring like shades of pink and pastels. I got this blush colored sweater at Ann Taylor for a great price on final sale. I chose the largest size for an oversized look that could be easily layered.

I have a tendency to break up solids with printed pieces, which explains the houndstooth coat. I'm all about monochrome and solid colored outfits, but I think adding a printed piece adds interest and visually appealing dimension.

These tasseled loafers are a go-to pair in my closet. They're comfortable and add a preppy finish to casual outfits. The brown color has a richness that warms up my fair skin tone and adds a subtle pop against my usual uniform of black and grey.

The bright lip popped against my pale pink top and white accents. This moisturizing lipstick from Aveda's latest make-up collection, Rare Bloom, is a color that will likely appear in my beauty routine for months to come.

The necklaces are from Rocksbox. Have you tried Rocksbox yet? If not, check out their site and use the code desireexoxo to try it out for FREE!
